Find support.

Calgary has a strong network of agencies and dedicated professionals working together to help those in need get back on their feet.

For immediate assistance visit SCORCe (the Safe Communites Opportunity Resource Centre). They are a centre by which people can access programs and services. They are located on the City Hall LRT platform in the free fare zone (316 7th Ave SE). You can go in person; their hours are from 8:30am-4:30pm. If you are unable to get there or would prefer to call, their direct line is (403) 428-3300.

** Please note: Due to the potential impact of the COVID-19 virus on our city’s vulnerable populations, SORCe is temporarily moving to phone support only. SORCe will not be providing in person support until further notice. You can leave a message at (403) 608-5559 or (403) 617-4183. **

If you require assistance outside of their operating hours, please contact the Distress Centre at (403) 266-4357.
